The Team

Frank Weimann

Frank Weimann is partner and agent at Folio Literary Management. Frank is interested in representing narrative non-fiction, prescriptive non-fiction, memoir, military, history, diet/fitness, science, biography, business, investing, finance, religious, mind/body/spirit, health, lifestyle, sports, special forces/CIA/FBI/Mafia, humour, pop culture, and celebrity.

Frank does not represent poetry or screenplays.

Frank has been a literary agent for twenty-seven years, over the course of his career he has represented Nobel Prize, Pulitzer prize, and Caldecott winners.

Frank’s client list includes Joe Bonanno, Nancy Grace, Larry Bird, Terry Bradshaw, Bill Russell, Britney Spears, Gregg Allman, Sammy Hagar, Joe Pistone, and Rodney Dangerfield. He has also optioned and licensed several book titles for film and merchandise, including James Bradley with Ron Powers’ ‘Flags of Our Fathers’, Charles Brandt’s ‘The Irishman’, Homer Hickman’s ‘October Sky’ and ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’.

I began my career in publishing at The Literary Group, which I founded in 1986. I merged my agency with Folio in 2013. Over the years, I’ve worked with a number of incredible authors — from soldiers to celebrities, from business leaders to self-help gurus. My clients have been experts in their fields and have included Nobel, Pulitzer, Caldecott and Medal of Honor winners. My list is diverse, yet all of my titles have one thing in common: They are written by authors who are passionate about their book’s subject. Whether it’s how to live your dream (October Sky by Homer Hickam), win the Olympics (Grace, Gold and Glory by Gabby Douglas), or accomplish an impossible mission (No Ordinary Dog by Will Chesney); whether you’re a rock star (My Cross to Bear by Gregg Allman) or you run a crime family (Man of Honor by Joe Bonanno) — if you can get your passion down on paper, I’m interested.
